AI is everywhere.
People are using ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and other AI tools to write emails, generate content, solve problems, and improve productivity.
That’s a good start.
But I believe the next big opportunity is not just using AI. It’s understanding how to build with AI.
There is a difference between asking AI to do something and building an AI assistant that can actually perform a task.
Imagine an eCommerce customer asking:
“I’m looking for a product under $200. Can you check its availability and calculate the discount?”
A traditional chatbot might simply respond with information.
But an AI assistant connected to the right tools can search products, retrieve relevant details, calculate discounts, and provide a useful answer.
This is where things become interesting.
Learning by Building
At Klizer , we’ve been encouraging our teams to experiment with AI, not just talk about it.
Through Klizer AI Club, we want to extend that learning beyond our organization and create opportunities for students, developers, and technology enthusiasts.
That’s why we’re organizing AI Build Lab: Build Your First eCommerce AI Assistant.
This is a hands-on, beginner-friendly workshop; you’ll build a working shopping assistant and learn how tool calling works along the way. You’ll write the tools that let your assistant:
- Search products based on customer requirements
- Check order status and delivery information
- Calculate discounts
- Chain multiple tools to answer a single request
The goal is simple: Move from watching AI demonstrations to building something that works.
You don’t need to build a complex AI agent on day one. Start with a small problem. Build a simple solution. Learn from it. Improve it.
And keep building.
