This week, I want to share two initiatives we recently introduced at Klizer:
AI Excellence Awards
AI is changing the way we work, and we wanted to encourage our teams to embrace it in a meaningful way. That’s why we launched the AI Excellence Awards.
Here’s how it works:
- Anyone at Klizer—individually or as a team—can nominate their AI innovation.
- It could be something that automates a workflow, improves efficiency, or creates a positive impact for the company or our clients.
- We then formed an evaluation committee to carefully review all the nominations.
The response was inspiring. Several team members and teams submitted their work, showing how AI can solve real problems. After a thorough review, we recognized the winners with the AI Excellence Award.
This isn’t just about giving out an award. It’s about creating a culture where people experiment, take initiative, and share ideas that make a difference.
Book Reimbursement Policy
In the past, we used to pick a book for everyone and give it to the team, believing it would be useful for all. While that worked, we realized learning becomes more powerful when it’s personalized.
Now, with the Book Reimbursement Policy, every team member can choose their own book based on their role, interests, and career path—and get reimbursed for it.
It doesn’t stop with physical books. Team members can also get reimbursed for Kindle or other e-reader subscriptions, so that learning fits their style and convenience.
This way, we’re not just giving out books—we’re empowering people to choose their own learning journey.
Reflection
Both initiatives—AI Excellence Awards and Book Reimbursements—are about one thing: investing in curiosity.
 Curiosity to explore new tools.
Curiosity to learn from books.
Curiosity to become a little better every day.
That’s how we build a culture that lasts.
